How it all started...
Calvary Chapel Foothills began September 2012 as a home Spanish Bible Study Ministry know as "La Palabra" which translated means, "The Word". On August 29, 2013 "La Palabra" became "Calvary Chapel Foothills" in affiliation with Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.
Calvary Chapel Foothills has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are a non-denominational fellowship. We're not opposed to denominations, only their emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to a division within the Body of Christ.
We believe in equipping the people of God by consistently and accurately teaching the Word of God, verse-by-verse, chapter by chapter.
