2 Timothy 2:8-13 | Encouragement to Endure

Paul urges Timothy to remember Jesus Christ—risen from the dead and descended from David—as the foundation of the gospel. Even though Paul is suffering in chains, God’s word is never chained. He endures everything so that others may receive salvation. The passage ends with a powerful early Christian saying about dying with Christ, enduring with Him, and His faithfulness even when we fail.
